WebOct 29, 2004 · I put some tilt/trim fluid in with a syringe, but it didn't seem to need much before it came back out. The engine still does not go up or down and I am not sure how to work the air out. I was told to release the pressure screw and let the engine fall. Then, the tilt unit will lift the motor back up.
