It can be for a block, head, intake, etc. E= Decade so this would be '80s. 5 ,6 or 7 = year or 5th, 6th/7th year of the decade. However, Ford did not use the letters "I" or "O" in their date codes, as they are too similar to 1 and 0 (zero). So it is a 1995 block the same block was used in the GT also. You can say it is a Cobra block, but that does not meen that it actually came out of a Cobra. Actualy the '85 roller block is a little different for the rest of th roller blocks, it did not have siamesed cylinders, that started with the '86 blocks.
