I've never heard of the o-ring failing and frankly, as I argued many posts before, the sleeve with sealant provides a much more robust seal than even the original setup.

It is an easy DYS project that required only removal of the water pump. The longer process was sanding the ID if the water pipe to fit the sleeve inside.
